Thirty trails throughout the Linn County Park system provide over
80 miles of outdoor recreation opportunities to a variety of enthusiasts!
From hiking and biking to snowmobiling, horseback riding or cross-country
skiing - there's a trail to fill the bill! In addition to the designated
trails, a scenic stroll can be taken along the many additional miles of
park roadways.
You will find many of our trails to be challenging as they blend
into the various terrain and habitats of eastern Iowa. Several
trails are shorter in length (3/4 mile), with the longest being
the 26-mile Cedar Valley Nature Trail. 26 miles in addition to
those managed by Linn County Conservation create this unique
52-mile trail between Cedar Rapids and Waterloo.
If you have additional questions beyond the trail information
provided in this website - be sure to give our office a call.
We hope you enjoy the special trail experiences you can find
in your Linn County Parks!
