SHELTERS are open-air facilities which provide picnic tables
on a concrete floor. Each shelter has the following:
electrical outlets (except White Oak) and pressurized water
for drinking; pedestal stoves for grilling; picnic tables;
and a nearby pit-vault restroom. Some shelters have serving
counters, nearby horseshoe courts, playgrounds, and, possibly
campsites. Reservations are required to ensure usage - if a
shelter is not reserved, it may be utilized at no charge on
a first-come, first served basis.
