From rustic pack-in campgrounds to modern sites with all the
conveniences, Linn County Conservation is pleased to provide
over 650 campsites throughout the county park system. With the
exception of the group camps, campsites are available on a
first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not available.
Individual campgrounds consist of a certain number of campsites
and are classified as either FAMILY campgrounds or GROUP
campgrounds. Sites in family campgrounds are limited to five
people or less, and a limit of one camping unit. Fee payment
is made by self-registration in the specific campground.
Discounts are available through the purchase of an Annual
Camping Permit or Discount Camping Coupons.
Though managed the same as modern family campgrounds, sites
in our more primitive natural areas are not subject to the
five-person/one-unit restriction mentioned above. Each
individual camping unit must, however, register and pay
the required fee for that area.
Group campgrounds are located at Pinicon Ridge and
Morgan Creek Parks. These campgrounds require an
advanced reservation for use - which includes payment
of a $10 reservation fee and a refundable clean-up/damage
deposit. Individual camping units must also pay the required
on-site registration fees for the specific campground. Youth
group rates are available for use of the group camping facilities.
The Morgan Creek group camps is for pack-in use only. Two of the
seven group camping areas at Pinicon Ridge have electricity
available. (#1 and #2) (NOTE: Drinking water is not available
at the Pinicon Ridge group camping area - please provide your
own drinking water supply)
More specific and detailed information about each campground is
available by clicking on the campground list link.
